Hi! I’m Kelsey, and I believe that every person—no matter how young—deserves a space where they can feel heard and empowered. My journey in the mental health field has taken me from inner-city school settings to home-based early childhood support and private practice. These diverse experiences have shaped my “eclectic” style; I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I meet you where you are, using whatever tools resonate most with you or your child.

I am particularly passionate about helping my younger clients learn to calm their bodies and minds in fun, creative ways. In fact, I even became a kids’ yoga instructor to better assist children in building that mind-body connection. Whether you are navigating a major life transition, processing trauma, or struggling with anxiety, I am here to help you find your unique path toward healing and peace.

My approach is vibrant and multifaceted. I am an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant, which means I have specialized training in the unique needs of our youngest clients. I blend traditional CBT and Trauma-Focused CBT with Solution-Focused strategies. However, I also believe in the power of creative expression. Depending on what works best for the individual, I incorporate Art, Play Therapy techniques, Sandtray, Sensory Items, and Mindfulness/Yoga into our sessions. This “toolbox” approach ensures that even when words are hard to find, we have a way to process and grow.

I work with clients ages 5 and up, with deep expertise in:

• Early Childhood Mental Health (Specialized Consultant)
• Anxiety & Depression in Children & Teens
• Trauma & PTSD Recovery (TF-CBT)
• Behavioral & Aggression Issues
• Grief & Adjusting to Life Transitions
